Creative Bootcamp: Programme for the formation of creative entrepreneurs at the British Council Mexico

What we did:

The Creative Bootcamp is a British Council programme in Mexico that specialises in cultural and creative entrepreneurship. It takes place over five weeks and focuses on supporting young entrepreneurs whose projects are in the early stages.

The programme included: ten keynote speeches opened to the general public by British and Mexican specialists, practical exercises, and consultation material, in addition to specialised mentoring sessions by 20 selected participants. There was also the opportunity to receive a seed fund for a maximum amount of 100,000,00 MXN.

In the 2022 edition, we were in charge of the curation and enabling of the programme contents, bringing specialists from British and Chilean organisations including the Royal College of Art, Imperial Business School, and the Design Council, among others.

Results:

  • We trained more than 300 people remotely through five sessions of two hours each for five consecutive weeks.
  • We participated in the selection of two enterprises from among 20 participants, which shared a Seed Fund of 100,000,00 MXN. Winners: Ellas Artes and Anecdote
