National Prosecutor’s Office: Strategies and practices for the adoption of innovation
National Prosecutor’s Office: Strategies and practices for the adoption of innovation

What we did:

In 2020, we designed and launched the Public Innovators Network of the Public Ministry REDI, a collaborative network to promote innovation in the Prosecutor’s Office through connections, training, and promotion of project development with innovation logic.

To date, REDI has developed three versions of training programmes in public innovation for almost 100 officials. Not only have new work logics been installed, but also solutions have been developed and implemented to improve the experience of crime victims and the management of officials themselves.

Results:

  • Institutionality created and deployed in the Public Ministry, from where all the innovation processes of the institution are coordinated and managed.
  • 100 public servants mobilised and trained in the logic and practices of public innovation.
  • Three new victim-focused solutions designed in order to improve plain language.
  • Report produced with actionable knowledge: Guidelines for the teleworking policy of the Public Ministry.
