About

Bachelor’s degree in History from the Catholic University of Chile and MPA in Public and Social Policy from The London School of Economics. He was Executive Director of the NGO Trabajo en la Calle; Chief of Staff for the Mayor of Peñalolén, Claudio Orrego; and a researcher at the Centre for Cities, a UK think tank dedicated to advocating the value of cities as promoters of economic development. In 2014, he was responsible for the design of the Governance Laboratory, Latin America’s first innovation laboratory, where he was also its first Executive Director between 2015 and 2018.

He is currently the director of the think tank Espacio Publico, and a fellow and coordinator at States of Change for Latin America, a global collective that promotes innovation and works together with the governments of Australia, Sri Lanka, and Sao Paulo. He has worked as a consultant for the IDB in matters of open government, public innovation, and citizen participation, and is a professor of public innovation at UDD, UAI, and University of Chile.
