Andrea Apolaro

She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of the Republic, with over 20 years of experience in innovation and citizen participation projects in local governments. Since 2016, she has been the Coordinator of the Citizen Lab at the Intendencia of Montevideo, and in 2021, she served as a coach for the Bloomberg Global Mayors Challenge, training 10 municipalities in Latin America. In that project, she mentored the city of Hermosillo, which won the Bloomberg Philanthropies award. In 2022, she was recognized as one of the 13 women promoting innovation in cities. She is currently part of the Innovation Track.
