WHAT WE DO

We are a Public Innovation & Strategic Design Studio

We design, build, and deliver public innovation infrastructure for governments, regulated industries, and institutions committed to generating public value. Every engagement produces tangible systems — programmes, services, governance models, and collaborative ecosystems — that turn institutional ambition into measurable public outcomes.

As an innovation studio rooted in the field, we’ve worked with 50+ organisations and 170+ local governments across Latin America, Europe, and the US, operating as embedded partners — from initial discovery through delivery and institutional handover.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Public innovation consulting helps governments, regulated industries, and institutions design the strategies, services, and programmes that generate public value — from governance models and innovation labs to citizen-facing service transformation. It combines strategic foresight, service design, and programme delivery to turn institutional ambition into tangible outcomes.

UNIT designs and delivers. We produce tangible infrastructure — programmes, services, governance architectures, and collaborative systems — rather than advisory reports. Our work is grounded in strategic design and embedded partnership, not recommendations from a distance.

Governments, multilateral organisations, regulated industries (energy, healthcare, financial services), and any institution committed to generating public value. We’ve partnered with 50+ organisations and 170+ local governments across Latin America.

Every engagement starts with a discovery phase — understanding institutional purpose, mapping stakeholder landscapes, and assessing readiness for innovation. From there, we co-design the scope, deliverables, and governance of the engagement with the client team.

An innovation lab is an institutional unit designed to experiment, prototype, and drive systemic change. We co-design labs from strategic purpose to operational model — including governance, action lines, identity, and the actor ecosystems needed to generate sustained public value.

Yes. While our deepest experience is in Latin America, our methods and frameworks are designed for any institution navigating complex public challenges. We work in English and Spanish and have partnered with multilateral organisations operating across multiple regions.
