Bachelor’s degree in History from the Catholic University of Chile and MPA in Public and Social Policy from the London School of Economics, UK. He has over 15 years of experience in public innovation. He served as President of the NGO Trabajo en la Calle, Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Peñalolén, Claudio Orrego, and was a researcher at the Centre for Cities, a British think tank focused on the role of cities in economic development. In 2014, he led the design of the Government Innovation Lab, the first innovation lab in Latin America, where he also served as its first Executive Director from 2015 to 2018. He is currently Director of the think tank Espacio Público and a fellow at States of Change, as part of a global network of public innovators. In addition, he has been a consultant for the OECD, UNDP, CAF, and the IDB on topics such as open government, public innovation, and citizen participation, and he teaches public innovation at various Chilean universities.
