The Global Mayors Challenge is a global initiative led by Bloomberg Philanthropies that identifies and supports innovative solutions developed by cities to address urgent urban challenges. In recent editions, UNIT has been selected as a delivery partner, assisting municipalities in Latin America in the design, development, and implementation of their proposals.
Challenge
The main challenge was to support municipalities in defining innovative projects that would effectively address their local contexts, strengthening their capacities to develop high-impact proposals with potential for scalability.

2. Support for Municipalities
- Objective: To strengthen the capacities of municipal teams in defining, structuring, and presenting their innovation projects.
- Actions: Organizing co-creation sessions, problem definition workshops, solution design workshops, and personalized mentoring for proposal development.
