IDEAPerú aimed to strengthen the innovation capabilities of public officials, enabling them to identify and solve institutional problems in creative and collaborative ways.

Methodology
Unit developed a methodology focused on hands-on learning and collaboration. The program was structured around three key phases:
- Training and exploration:
Twelve 3-hour synchronous sessions where participants learned to apply the Double Diamond approach to understand and explore innovative solutions. - Prototyping and testing:
Each team defined a challenge, developed solution prototypes, and tested them to validate their feasibility and potential impact. - Specialized mentoring:
Twelve personalized mentoring sessions helped teams advance their proposals with the guidance of public innovation experts.
Impact
Over 25 teams from public institutions participated in IDEAPerú, gaining the opportunity to transform institutional challenges into concrete solutions. Through 12 interactive sessions and personalized mentoring, participants not only acquired new innovation tools, but also applied them directly to projects designed to create a positive impact in their communities.
